Hidden blessings

Today started out with something I was dreading, another thing on my to-do list. A placement that had been sprung upon me. The conditions in this school were rough and it was a sad situation. Then, I met the kids. They were so full of joy, laughter, and life. They latched on to me and for the short while I was there made me feel so special. I was also so thankful for everything I have. (kinda made me feel guilty for complaining about being "broke" when I met these kids). It's funny when things you think are such a waste of your time turn out to be a huge blessing.  Thank God for sweet children who can turn a whole day around.
